Why I Became a Lactation Consultant
My twin girls led me to my passion for breastfeeding. They came seven weeks early and I was determined to nurse them, and shortly after having them I knew this was the work I wanted to do.

Emily is heading into her eighth year as an IBCLC, and it all started when she nursed her twin girls, who arrived seven weeks early. She keeps things straightforward and will do everything she can to get you to your goals.
A little about what drives me, what I love about being a lactation consultant, and life outside of being an IBCLC.

Helping someone during one of the most vulnerable times of their life is the best part. I also just love babies.
I’m pretty straightforward and to the point. I’ll help you meet YOUR goals, not what I think is best, and I’ll do everything under the sun to get you as close to those goals as possible.
I’m a mom to twin girls who are 12 going on 16, and we have three cats. I’m working on my RN right now, so most of my time goes to school and the kids. When I’m not doing either, I’m happiest lounging at home. I love babies, chocolate, and 90s R&B.
