Why I Became a Lactation Consultant
My Master's thesis in Public Health — researching social support and self-efficacy with La Leche League in Guatemala — first showed me how deeply support shapes a family's breastfeeding journey. After years in public health with WIC and then as a postpartum nurse, I pursued my IBCLC certification to sharpen my expertise and better support the families I work with.

My Favorite Part of Being an IBCLC
I'm a problem solver by nature and a bit of a science nerd — I love using up-to-date knowledge of physiology, pharmacology, and biology to help families work through complex breastfeeding challenges.

What Families Can Expect Working with Me
A safe, calming space where you feel seen and heard, whether we're navigating latch challenges, milk supply concerns, pumping routines, or you just need a listening ear. I support all feeding choices with kindness and respect, meeting every family where they are — available for both at-home and virtual visits.

A Little About Me
I love being outdoors — hiking, gardening, kayaking — and find real peace in nature in a world that often feels chaotic. I also enjoy music, yoga, and a bit of crocheting in the winter!
