Why I Became a Lactation Consultant
My love for breastfeeding grew during years as a postpartum mother-baby nurse. I earned my IBCLC certification in 2016, knowing it would let me continue this work with mothers and babies once I was ready to leave the hospital setting.

My Favorite Part of Being an IBCLC
Helping mothers reach their breastfeeding goals — it's so rewarding to watch them gain confidence in themselves and their babies, especially when we've worked through real struggles together to get there. I love doing home visits in particular; it's a more personal approach, and mothers are most comfortable in their own space.

What Families Can Expect Working with Me
I'll listen, and we'll work together to build a plan that's realistic and sustainable for your family. I'm committed to helping in any way I can and will make sure all your questions are answered.

A Little About Me
I'm married to my husband, Jim, a hospice chaplain. We moved to the Chicago area in 2022 to be close to our children — including our son's two young daughters, whose growing-up years we didn't want to miss. We live in the suburbs but love heading into the city for fun outings and great dining.
