  • "Julie really helped me get a better grasp of what was going on with my baby. She had initially latched just fine, but suddenly fussing once she was about 12 weeks. Julie advised that she may have tongue and lip tie. We got her evaluated and had the procedure—nursing was night and day! It was so helpful having Julie visit me after the procedure to make sure my baby was getting enough each feed.   • "I did a virtual consultation with Gretchen and an in-person with Melissa. Both consultants were wonderful to work with and provided much needed advice and support. I would highly recommend North Shore Lactation to any moms or moms-to be who are interested in trying to nurse and/or pump. Latching did not come easy for my little guy and I was at a loss on how much and how frequently I should pump until we were able to improve his latch. Gretchen was so helpful in guiding me through a pump schedule and giving advice on how to work on latching. Once we had that down, I met with Melissa in-person and she helped me with positioning and latching. I’m happy to say with their help my little guy is able to nurse and I now have some surplus milk I can store. Great experience all around!"
