Breastfeeding Essentials (recommended 6 weeks prior to due date)

This is a 2 ½ hour class aimed at giving parents all the essentials of
breastfeeding. Topics include: How to breastfeed comfortably, breastfeeding
positions, how to make milk and maintain an adequate milk supply, benefits
of breastfeeding, how to meet the needs of your baby, common
breastfeeding difficulties and complications and how to avoid them, what to
expect in the early post-partum period and first weeks at home, nutrition,
medications, returning to work, breast milk expression and storage,
developing a support system, and where to get help.
